We are so excited to announce our 5th Anniversary Love for Giovanni food free
allergy friendly Trunk or Treat event. The foundation was put together in honor of Giovanni Cipriano who passed away from an allergic reaction to peanuts on October 18, 2013. Our mission is to raise awareness and educate others on the importance of proper use of epinephrine and to support the food allergy community.
The 5th Anniversary Trunk or Treat, which will be Saturday, October 26, is open to everyone, but is a non-food event in order to help this be a safe, fun day for all children with food allergies. Halloween is one of the scariest days for parents and children with food allergies since one bite of the wrong food can potentially kill them.
We just cant believe that we have gotten to 5 years, from a small crowd of just about only 25 to last year a little over 200. This year we are expecting a super turnout, due to word of mouth, and the 5th Anniversary celebration. We are making sure we will have a day filled with lots of fun.
ALL are Invited, but this event is perfect for families managing food allergies,EOE, FPIES, celiacs or other medically restricted diets. therefore *there will be NO FOOD ALLOWED at this event!
There will be trunk or treating. (Bring your your own "non-food treats" to give out, they can be found at Target, Walmart, Oriental Trading Company, etc.)There will be contests, kid friendly activities, games, face painting, red carpet Photo Op at the Step & Repeat, DJ, and great gift baskets will be raffled too. We even have some great surprises up our sleeves. Can't wait to see you all there.

Walkers are welcome, if you do not want to decorate a car and just want to come and join in on the trunk or treating, fun and games, you're are more than welcome, we just ask that you give a $10 donation. (This will help keep the treats flowing)
